Letters originally used to be a medium of communication. However, as letters started being used as design elements, their natural form has experienced a process of deconstruction and recombination. Today, letters are no longer limited to means of communication but exist as independent sculpted polyhedra. Using the artificial intelligence system called ‘Google Live Translator’, Shin considers the boundaries of letters as a medium of communication and letters as polyhedra.
